Today, Mr. Raouf Mazou- UNHCR Assistant High Commissioner for Operations paid a courtesy call to Ambassador Marcel R. Tibaleka at the Uganda Permanent Mission Geneva, and shared his experience from the recent UNHCR- EU visit to Uganda in a quest to mobilize development partners to support the refugee response programs in Uganda.
The meeting successfully explored all options to help ease the burden on Uganda for  hosting the largest refugee numbers in Africa for a protracted period including using the upcoming GRF where Uganda is one of the co-convenors.
